WHAT IS WEBLITE WEB CONFERENCING?

WebLite Web Conferencing is Aspen's basic service that enables users to deliver dynamic Microsoft® PowerPoint®, presentations over the Web while conducting an audio conference call using our Reservationless Audio Conferencing service.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR YOUR SERVICES?

Click the "Get WebLite" link to the left and an Aspen Conferencing representative will respond accordingly.

HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS CAN I HAVE ON THE WEB CONFERENCE?

You can have up to 125 participants on the phone and thousands on the Web.

HOW IS THE SERVICE PRICED?

The service is priced based on a flat monthly fee per user.

WHAT IS THE STANDARD WEB CONFERENCING SET UP?

The standard conferencing set up consists of a Conference ID # and moderator PIN. Users must utilize Aspen's Reservationless audio conferencing service in conjunction with WebLite in order to access and deliver their Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentations.

To initiate the WebLite service, simply go to the Aspen Conferencing Home Page (www.aspenconferencing.com) and click on the 'Moderator' link on the left side of the page under WebLite Log In.

CAN I RECORD MY CONFERENCE?

Yes. You can record* your conference from the Web or the phone. Simply press *2 on your telephone keypad at any time during your conference to record the audio portion or click the "record" button on your Web console to record both the audio and Web.

* FCC law requires that the recording party inform all participants that they are being recorded upon entering the conference.

WHAT IS WEBCASTING?

Webcasting allows you to broadcast your conference over the Web live or for later playback. Your audio conference and any visuals you are presenting are synchronized so that participants can listen and view your conference on their computer as it happens, without using their phone. By clicking the 'Record' or 'webcasting' buttons from the Web interface, you can record the audio and visual components of your call.

WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS?

WebLite Web Conferencing uses everyday tools-the phone and the computer-to make your meetings more effective. For the audio component, all you need is a touchtone phone.
To use the Web component, you need:

  • Computer with at least a 28.8K Internet connection
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x or higher or Netscape Navigator 4.x or higher
  • RealPlayer(tm) G2 or higher
