Web Conferencing Pro - Seminar Edition is an online conferencing solution that offers interactive features for remote meetings integrated with advanced event management tools for effectively planning online seminars and events. It lets you set up events in advance and manage and follow up with your registrants, all from one simple interface.

Aspen's Web Conferencing Pro is ideal for pre-planned sales and marketing presentations, online training or other large-scale events in a one-to-many setting. It has all the collaborative features of basic Web conferencing services plus additional Q and A features and expanded planning and scheduling tools to manage online events.

WHAT IF I NEED WEB CONFERENCING FOR SMALLER, MORE INFORMAL, OR HIGHLY INTERACTIVE SITUATIONS?

Web Conferencing Pro - Seminar Edition is ideal for online seminars, training, and other large-scale events in a one-to-many setting. When your Web conferences consist of smaller groups and require hands-on input from all participants, look into Aspen's Meeting Edition. HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR ASPEN'S WEB CONFERENCING PRO?

Click the "Get Web Conferencing Pro" link to the left and an Aspen Conferencing representative will respond accordingly or call 1-800-363-9527 to speak with a representative immediately. Within 24 hours, we can have an account setup for you.

CAN I SCHEDULE AN EVENT IN ADVANCE?

Yes, Aspen's Web Conferencing Pro includes powerful scheduling tools that let you set up your events, promote them on your site and manage participant registration. However, if you expect fewer than 125 participants at your event, you do not need to schedule in advance, since your virtual conference room is always available.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PARTICIPATE IN A WEB CONFERENCING PRO SEMINAR?

Aspen's Web Conferencing Pro can support up to 2,500 simultaneous participants on the Web. If you expect more than 125 participants, 12-hour advance notice is required.

HOW IS THE SERVICE PRICED?

Aspen Conferencing Web Conferencing Pro has two pricing models, a flexible per-minute option or a fixed-price subscription. Subscription and per-minute prices vary by customer based on several factors; if you are interested in learning about subscription or per minute pricing, we recommend you discuss the many options with an Aspen Conferencing representative. DOES ASPEN CONFERENCING OFFER EVENT SUPPORT SERVICES?

Yes. Web Conferencing Pro - Seminar Edition subscription customers receive free training and support for their first event. In addition, Aspen Conferencing offers comprehensive event services for high-profile online seminars that involve extensive planning, management and follow-up. WHAT ABOUT INTEGRATED AUDIO CONFERENCING?

Aspen's Web Conferencing Pro is fully integrated with Aspen's Reservationless Conferencing. All Web seminar moderators are automatically set up with a Reservationless Conferencing account, which can be used in conjunction with Aspen's Seminar Edition, Meeting Edition, or as a standalone audio conferencing service.

CAN I RECORD A WEB SEMINAR?

Yes, for an additional fee you can record both the Web and audio portions of a Web Conferencing Pro seminar event simply by clicking the 'Record' button on the interface. Your recording will be available for playback immediately after your event is completed. For details on recording charges, please contact an Aspen Conferencing representative by dialing 1-800-363-9527 or by clicking on the "Pricing" button to the left.

HOW CAN I SECURE MY WEB SEMINAR?

Aspen's Web Conferencing Pro comes with both standard and optional security features. To prevent unauthorized access to your seminar, you can lock your conference, dial out to your participants, view a real-time participant list or dismiss participants from the conference. Optional 128-bit SSL encryption is also available, adding an additional layer of security. WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR MODERATORS?

Web Conferencing Pro runs on almost any Java-enabled Web browser. It deploys with minimal bandwidth, and no additional client downloads or plug-ins (beyond Java) are required.

  • Operating system: Windows 98 SE or higher
  • Web browser: Internet Explorer 5.x or greater or Netscape 4.75, 4.79, 4.80 or 7.0
  • A computer with at least a 28.8 Kbps Internet connection
  • Any Pentium class chip 266 MHz or equivalent
    • One of following JVM (Java Virtual Machine) browser plug-ins:
    • Microsoft JVM
    • Sun JVM (versions 1.3.1_07, 1.4.1_02)
    • Requires 128 MB RAM
    • Does not support playback of recorded audio components
  • Optional input: sound card and microphone to record events

WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS?
